About Me

Michael Tanujaya discovered the world of video editing in 2009. Since then, video has become his burning passion, and he keeps expanding his skills and experience in video production until today. He is fascinated by the fact that video has become a very powerful tool to deliver information effectively and efficiently in a highly dynamic interconnected world, and he finds such rapid changes to be a fun challenge to learn new skills.

Michael has been extensively involved in many video productions, from his humble beginning in school concerts, church concerts, event promotion, trailers, to professional experiences in short films, animation, corporate, television, documentaries and digital series. One short film he edited as final university project was featured in Sydney Underground Film Festival and achieved the Audience Award (Ozpoilt session). Another short film he edited was shortlisted in Tropfest Australia 2014 - the largest short film festival in Australia.

His projects are notable for the use of time-lapse photography (it is his hobby anyway). His works are also described as dynamic and emotive. However, it doesn't stop him to experiment with new styles.

Today, Michael lives in Jakarta, Indonesia, working at various projects ranging from webseries, television series, animation, to corporate videos with clients both from Indonesia and overseas. He is currently seeking opportunities to continue his study in advanced compositing and visual effects.

By converting imagination into reality, he is ready to fulfil the needs of visually hungry audience.
